Today is the 19th of March…I left Sydney on the 19th of January. WOW. I didn’t even realize by myself that it had been two months. My best friend in Australia sent me a msg reminding me. I have experienced so much since getting on the plane. I have met so so so many people and am so grateful for them. Every day I am learning something. I still haven’t got my head around the busses/trains/trams 100%. This morning I only missed 3 busses *sigh*. I will soon start being 5 minutes early for everything because for the Swiss that is normal.
On Saturday I met with my friend IZZY who is also in district 9685. We went to her city Lucern/Lucerne/Luzern. It was one of the best days of my exchange. I traveled for about 3.5 hours to get there and back and I would definitely do it again in a heartbeat. We first went to a “coop” which is like AUSÂ woolies and grabbed some “bio” yogurt which is like “macro or organic” in AUS. We also grabbed something from the bakery and a coffee. We are both slowly getting fat but it’s okay, we are living our best lives. We then headed to a lookout at the top of a shopping center and there were people having lunch there so it was a little bit awkward so we left and then walked around the main streets and the lake. I will definitely be returning to Lucern as it is so stunning. The weather was also amazing, it was so warm and the sun was shining.
